I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. We celebrated a day early by going to the movies to see "Star Trek" (it was AWESOME) and going out to dinner to Texas Roadhouse with my inlaws. My inlaws did us a huge favor by keeping the girls for most of the day Saturday and meeting us at Texas Roadhouse with them. Mike took me to lunch at Chili's before the movie. It was a wonderful day. Sunday, Mother's Day, was also nice. The girls were waiting patiently downstairs for me to come down so they could yell "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" and give me my card. It was very cute. The two videos you'll see is of this event. Mike thought that he could turn the camera sideways and get a better, oblong shot(like you can with pictures) while filming. He still doesn't understand that it doesn't work like that with the video function of our camera. Hence, most of the second video is sideways. Why am I still posting it? Well, because the girls are still cute in it and for my mother's sideways viewing pleasure. If you have a laptop and are watching it, you could probably just turn your laptop sideways and watch it the right way!
Oh and my Mother's Day gift? A Tempurpedic pillow! That may not sound that exciting but this pillow makes a huge difference in my neck when I sleep. It's shaped the correct way for sleeping and is sooo comfortable. I love it!
