This post is going to be about two cute things I've received recently: an adorable drawing by Katelyn and a brand spankin' new cell phone!What do a drawing and a phone have in common? Well they're both cute and their both featured in this blog post!
Let's start with Cute Thing Number One:
If this drawing isn't the cutest drawing by a three-year-old you've ever seen well, then...... pooey on you! Katelyn drew this picture for Sunday school, as we were talking about families. Their art project was to draw a picture of their family is this "frame". She drew us all according to size. (accurately!)Can you guess who the big blue person is? (hint: we call him daddy!) She cutely drew me in between her and Madelyn and I love how tiny Madelyn is. I'm not quite sure what the green and red things. She tried explaining it to me and I still wasn't quite getting it. The purple thing is a balloon ,I think. She even tried to write her name! That's her "K" and Ms. Carolyn wrote the rest of her name.
We've been working on writing the letters of her name and that's not going so well. She gets frustrated very easily because her letters aren't perfect yet. She's having trouble with the "K" and would much rather right "M's" all day. Except, that, as you know, KATELYN has no "M's" in it. She tends to write her "A" upside down and does well with the "T", "E" and "L". "Y" and "N" are also a problem. Anyway, my heart just melts every time I see this picture.
On to Cute Thing Number Two:
My new cell phone! Isn't it cute? It's so...squat and....square(ish). It's a Verizon Blitz and I got it free with my "new every two" plan.

Yep, that's a slideout qwerty keyboard! Now I can text, check e-mail, Twitter and Facebook from my cell phone. If I'm so inclined.
