This is the little corner of my blog where I recommend what I think is good reading to you. You can take my recommendations or completely throw them out the window! I'm not the type of person to only read Christian Living Books or Christian Fiction. My favorite genre is actually murder/suspense/thriller. You'll find a mix of titles in here. "How To Make Your Children Mind, Without Losing Yours" By Dr. Kevin Leman
Loved, loved, loved this book. It totally changed my thinking on discipline and pretty much every aspect of parenting.
"Raising Your Children Without Tearing Them Down" By Dr. Kevin Leman
Another great one by Dr. Leman. Love it!
"The Power Of A Praying Wife" By Stormie Omartian.
Excellent!! I will read and re-read this book. It touches on many areas of our husband's lives that need prayer. Many of these areas I never even thought to pray about. It's really taught me a lot about the power of prayer and how a wife's prayer life can affect her husband in a big way.
FICTION

You'll want to read this one over and over again

Hysterically funny!! Easy read and you won't be able to put it down
" Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas" by James Patterson
Get the tissues because you're going to cry with this one. Loved. It. Beautiful
Anything by James Patterson. He's a brilliant writer.

CHRISTIAN FICTION
"Mark Of The Lion" Series by Francine Rivers
Brilliantly written. Prepare to be touched. Oh, and you'll cry.
"What A Girl Wants" by Kristen Billerbeck
If you are a Christian single or had a hard time being single way back when, you will looove this book. It's entertaining and has a great take home message. I laughed so many times and totally empathized with the heroine in the story.
The "Love Comes Softly" Series by Janette Oke
The "Mandie" Series By Lois Gladys Leppard.
This is a great series for girls from ages 8-14. I loved this series when I was young and will probably read it again at some point.Check here for more info on this series
