I am a Christian ,wife, stay at home mom of two adorable girls, former missionary kid, avid blogger, piano player, Sunday School teacher, play group planning, audio book lover, reader, and natural living student
I am a wife and mommy to two beautiful girls. I want to have 4 children in all, Lord willing. I am 30 years old and have been married to my wonderful husband,Mike, for 7 years. I was raised in Brazil for 15 years as a Missionary's Kid. No, Spanish is not the language in Brazil :o) Portuguese is and ,yes, I speak it fluently. I wish I was doing a better job of teaching it to my children but I'm not. I don't think they are going to grow up bilingual like I was. I have been a Christian since I was 7 years old and love my Lord with all my heart. My husband and I hope to raise our children knowing the Lord and His love for them. We are very active and involved in our church. I am a Sunday school teacher and part of the worship team. I play piano and sing. Mike also teaches sunday school and plays the bass. We love being active in church and being part of ministry. We are always on the lookout for areas that we can serve in. I also am in charge of the women's activities at church and enjoy planning events for fun and fellowship. I started this blog mainly to keep in touch with my family and so my parents and siblings could see pictures of my growing children. My family lives in Texas and I in Massachussetts. I must admit I am not fond of living here and miss my family like crazy. This blog has evovled into more than just an online photo album for my family. It has become a creative outlet for me to express and share some of my personal journeys and struggles. I still use it to post news and photos of my kids and daily life but I also want to share my struggle with contentment with where God wants me right now and my quest for a more healthy, natural, green and simple lifestyle. There are many things I need to work on to become a better woman, wife and mother. Thank you for reading my blog and following on my journey with me. I welcome comments, questions and feed back!
